Camp Old Indian Information
Camp Old Indian is available for use by units during the off-season (non-summer months) except during special events. The camp covers 1,100 acres and has three lakes for swimming, boating, and fishing. COI is great for new troops or Webelos Dens. Water is available year-round at designated locations. There is no fee for unit camping.

Features:

Adirondacks-three sided shelters that sleep either 4 or 8

Cabins-sleep 16 to 18

Program Shelters-great for cookouts and gatherings

Activity Field-softball, Frisbee, or games

Amphitheater-for outside programs and pageants, holds 400 persons

Dining Hall and Conference Center-fee for use


Directions:

Take Hwy 25 north from Greenville approximately 20 miles. Exit onto Old 25 approximately 1 mile north of Hwy 11 underpass and follow signs 6 miles to Camp Old Indian.

Troop 210 will return to the Big Rock Adirondacks the second week of camp, June 17-23. The Big Rock campsite, as well as much of the rest of Camp Old Indian, has undergone a major facelift, with some new Adirondacks, and an all new plumbing system and latrines for the whole camp.
